The fights took place at the Great American Beer Hall in Medford Massachusetts.

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican-born, Quincy-based warrior (now 6-0-1, with 5 KOs) stepped into the ring against tough opponent Anthony “The Gentle Savage” Andreozzi in an 8-round title bout for the USA New England Light Heavyweight belt. Rodriguez used his signature power, relentless pressure, and slick boxing to control the action from the opening bell, ultimately securing the vacant regional belt in a lopsided unanimous decision victory. Andreozzi was no slouch, keeping a high pace from bell to bell, but Rodriguez’s power was simply too much for the judges to ignore.

This marks a major milestone for “The Bearded Wonder”; his first professional title just two years into his pro career.
