Medford, MA — April 10, 2026 — Nolan Bros Boxing fighter Sheniell Rodriguez etched his name into the record books on Friday night, claiming the New England Light Heavyweight Title with a hard-fought victory at the Pour Decisions event. The fights took place at the Great American Beer Hall in Medford Massachusetts.

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican-born, Quincy-based warrior (now 6-0-1, with 5 KOs) stepped into the ring against tough opponent Anthony “The Gentle Savage” Andreozzi in an 8-round title bout for the USA New England Light Heavyweight belt. Rodriguez used his signature power, relentless pressure, and slick boxing to control the action from the opening bell, ultimately securing the vacant regional belt in a lopsided unanimous decision victory. Andreozzi was no slouch, keeping a high pace from bell to bell, but Rodriguez’s power was simply too much for the judges to ignore.

This marks a major milestone for “The Bearded Wonder”; his first professional title just two years into his pro career. Known for overcoming significant personal challenges, including a speech impediment and a serious eye injury earlier in life, Rodriguez continues to prove that heart, determination, and hard work in the gym pay off inside the ropes.
Sheniell has become a fan favorite on the New England scene. His journey from Framingham roots to title contender embodies the grit that defines local boxing.
“Sheniell has been putting in the work, and tonight it all came together,” said promoter Matt Nolan of Nolan Bros Boxing. “He showed why he’s one of the most exciting prospects in the region. This is just the beginning.”
Huge congratulations to Sheniell, his team, and everyone at Nolan Bros Boxing for another unforgettable night of action!
