Every good team needs a captain, and NBB is no exception. Captains are chosen for their leadership abilities. These fighters show up every day and never make excuses. Leaders who consistently attend boxing for competition and fight factory. Boxers who commit to build not only their skills, but the skills of their teammates. They are multi-time champions, have competed at the highest level, and never look to take easy fights. They are coachable and believe in the people in their corner. These are the fighters who buy into the system fully, and are who other members should strive to become. These are the Nolan Bros Boxing Fight Team Captains.

Charlie Andrus
Charlie Andrus joined Nolan Bros Boxing in 2022. Charlie’s goal since the minute he stepped foot in the gym was to be the hardest working fighter in the room. Willing to live in his car for months just to stay close to the gym, his commitment is as relentless as he is in the ring. Charlie’s dedication to mastering the basics, being in top shape, and never missing a day at the gym has created a tremendous boxer and leader. A 4 time champion and undefeated in New England, Charlie represented team New England in the 2025 National Championships in Lubbock Texas.
As Matt has famously stated time and again “An excuse, no matter how valid, is still an excuse.” Paige Eggebrecht and Charlie Andrus do not make excuses. They attend the gym every day. Show up to boxing for competition and fight factory. Are always on weight. Listen to their coaches. They ARE the system. If you want to be featured on this page, follow their example.
